Score logs
Score logs list point changes for teams in this world. They are the audit trail for challenge solves, bonuses, penalties, hint costs, and manual score entries.
Where: World control panel, then Logs tab.
Use Logs to
- Review score entries for the current world.
- Filter entries by all, pending, or approved status.
- Add manual score log entries.
- Approve pending score entries so points count.
- Deny pending score entries so points do not count.
- Edit the points value before approving a pending entry.
- Remove approved score log entries when needed.
- Audit bonuses, penalties, hint costs, manual adjustments, and solve-related score changes.
- Review the Dungeon Master log when Dungeon Master player toasts are enabled for the world.
Logs are for score review and audit. They are not where players submit flags or where organisers create challenges.
Dungeon Master log
If Dungeon Master is enabled in the world admin Add-ons tab, Logs also shows a Dungeon Master log tab.
This log lists every player-facing Dungeon Master toast that was actually sent, including:
- The team involved.
- The related challenge when applicable.
- The toast message and theme.
- Whether it was a first-strike event.
- When the toast was sent.
Use it to confirm that Dungeon Master toasts are firing as expected during live play.
Pending vs approved
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Not yet confirmed. You can change the points value, then Approve (points count) or Deny (no points). |
| Approved | Confirmed; points count toward the team total. In-game solves are usually auto-approved. |
| Denied | Rejected or not counted. Denied entries should not affect the team score. |
How to use the Logs tab
- Open the Logs tab in the control panel.
- Use the All / Pending / Approved filter buttons to see all entries or only pending/approved.
- To add a manual adjustment, click Add score log, choose the team and optional challenge, set points, reason, first-strike status, and whether the entry starts as pending.
- For a pending entry: optionally edit the amount, then click Approve so points apply to the team or Deny so they do not.
- For an approved entry that should not remain, use Remove and confirm. This deletes the score log entry.
Use cases: Add manual score entries; review and approve or deny pending score entries; correct the points amount before approving; remove incorrect approved entries; audit score history.

Good operating practice
- Check pending entries regularly during a live event.
- Keep manual adjustments descriptive so later reviews are understandable.
- Confirm the team and challenge before approving a changed amount.
- Use logs to investigate score disputes, unexpected penalties, or missing bonuses.
