Players
Biterra events are played from the Customer Portal. Start here if you are joining a CTF, finding your team, opening the map, submitting answers, using hints, following other players, or checking the leaderboard.
Typical player flow
- Sign in or create an account.
- Open Events and find a world you can join.
- Register for the event while registration is open.
- Create a new team or join an existing team with a team invite code.
- Use Access when the event is live to open the map.
- Solve challenges, submit answers, and watch the scoreboard.
Key ideas for players
- Events are the player-facing way to find and join worlds.
- Registration is separate from map access. You can be registered before the event starts.
- Event access codes unlock invite-only registration. Team invite codes put you into a specific team.
- Teams share one score. Your solves, penalties, hint costs, and bonuses affect the team total.
- The map is where you open challenges, download files, use hints, launch supported targets, and submit answers.
- Progression rules can hide or unlock challenges based on prerequisites, timebomb windows, or choice groups.
- Feed and profiles help you follow players and organisations outside the event map.
