Feed

The Feed is your activity stream for people and organisations you follow. It helps you discover event activity without opening each profile or event one by one.

From the left navigation, open Feed to see recent updates in time order.

Reading your feed

Use the Feed to:

  • See recent activity from players and organisations you follow.
  • Open linked player profiles, organisation profiles, and event pages from feed items.
  • Use preview cards when they appear to inspect linked context before navigating.
  • Check how many players and organisations you follow.
  • Understand why your feed may be empty if you have not followed anyone yet.

The Feed is not a general player search, event creation page, or organisation admin page.

What appears in the feed

Your feed includes activity from followed players and organisations, such as:

  • Registered for event: someone you follow joined an event.
  • Listed event: an organisation you follow published a new public event.
  • Completed event: someone you follow completed an event.

Each item can show the actor, action, event name, relative timestamp, and links to the relevant player, organisation, or event.

Feed entries are interactive:

  • Player names open that player's profile.
  • Organisation names open the organisation profile.
  • Event names open the event page when available.

Hovering linked actors/events may show quick preview cards so you can inspect context before navigating.

Following people and organisations

The feed only shows activity for accounts you follow.

To follow a player, open their profile and use the Follow button on their profile. You can open a player profile from a shared /players/<uid> link, by clicking a player name in feed activity, or from suggested players in Feed > Players you follow.

You can also follow a suggested player directly from the Following modal when suggestions are shown.

To follow an organisation, open the organisation's public page and click Follow. The normal ways to reach that page are:

  • Click Hosted by on an event card or event page for an event run by that organisation.
  • Use a direct organisation profile link shared by the organisation.

After you follow accounts, new actions appear as they happen. The feed only reflects accounts you follow, so it can be empty if you are new or have not followed anyone yet.

For profile links, sharing your own profile, and following players, see Profile and following.

Feed metrics

On the right side of the feed page, you can see:

  • Players you follow
  • Organisations you follow

These counters help confirm your follow setup and explain why your feed may be sparse.
